A Quiet Place to Be With God

The Daily Chapel

Come away and be with God.

The Daily Chapel is a place set apart for solitude and communion with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Turn your attention upward toward God and inward toward your own heart. Listen. Receive. Be honest about what is stirring within you.

Nothing to prove. No need to hurry. God is already here.

“My heart says of You, ‘Seek His face!’ Your face, LORD, I will seek.” — Psalm 27:8

Turn Your Heart Toward God

A gentle six-minute daily rhythm of Scripture, quiet attentiveness, adoration, and listening. Communion with God comes before receiving an impression or message. Allow yourself to simply rest in the presence of the One who delights in being with you.

“Beginning the day with gratitude, listening, and looking toward the face of Jesus opens relationship with Him for the whole day.” — Terri

  1. 1

    Quieting

Place your hand gently on your chest. Take three slow, unhurried breaths and let your shoulders drop. Settle into the safe, unconditional presence of the Father.

  2. 2

    Interactive Gratitude & Golden Memory

Bring to mind a specific gift, person, or a Golden Memory of goodness and grace. Stay with it for a little while. In quiet attentiveness, ask: “Jesus, what do You want me to receive from this today?”

  3. 3

    Adoration Reading

Turn your focus toward the beauty, holiness, and character of God revealed in Jesus Christ. Gaze upon His gentle protection, His staying presence, and His covenant love.

  4. 4

    Quiet Attentiveness

Notice what remains in your heart and body. Rest beneath His gaze, knowing that acceptance precedes obedience and you are securely held.

A Pastoral Note on Discernment

Hold what you notice with an open hand. We learn to recognize God's voice over time. We welcome what reflects the character of Jesus and the witness of Scripture, and we weigh important impressions in wise, trusted community.

“I learned that God is in the darkness. There is no darkness in Him, but He is not afraid to enter ours. He brings His light with Him.”

Not every encounter with God needs to become an assignment. Sometimes we simply want to remember: God met me here.
